Despite being tiny, this place was completely packed with diners. The warm scent of soy sauce and sizzling noodles greets you when you open the door and whets your appetite. Do yourself a favour; skip the staple fried rice and roast pork, and go for the more exotic dishes offered. The back of the menu has a selection of house specials; se picked the beef tendon stew and homemade tofu, which were absolutely delectable. The stew was spicy and rich, packed with chunks of tendon that melt in your mouth. The tofu was just as enjoyable, with smooth tofu inside a delicious braised exterior. Both dishes came in generous portions.
I would like to say they make the best tasty Chinese food in Wellington. Good location. Absolutely highly recommend this place. Love the garlic pork rib they made. Also the homemade tofu is just beautiful. Waiting... every food they made I love it actually.
This weekend I realized why they have this name... because the food is AMAZING and the price not expensive!
I just went for dinner two of my three nights in Wellington! I ordered the corn/chicken soup and the chicken fried noodles... OMG!!! I really recommend 👏🏻
Ordered char kwai teow today. They made it vegetarian for me minus the egg. It was delicious. Generous portion and reasonably priced. The black bean chili oil on the table was also super yum, flavorful with a touch of heat, and complimented the noodles well. I'll definitely be back.
Absolutely awesome food. Seriously one of Wellingtons hidden gems. I would eat there every day if I didn't live so far away. The garlic pork ribs are...... amazing. Great price. Fantastic service. Quick and delicious
